Wes Fenlon has been playing Halo 3 in the Master Chief Collection, and says it's the foremost port of the serial so far. Not lonesome that, it comes with improvements for the others in the series, alike a eyepatch that fixes the audio issues in Halo: Pass. I am running out of excuses not to free rein it.

Emma Matthews has been playing Slay the Steeple, taking connected its secret final brag. Fair play, that's a dispute I've ne'er bothered with before. Thither's a hale bonus act as after you hit the regular ending at the tail of playact troika, just you can also replay to get high ascension ranks, or try to finish information technology with all the classes, or challenge yourself in another ways. It sure is a unstinting game, in contrast with the meanness of how it can play.

James Davenport and our Community houseman Stephanie Ijoma got together to stream some Hyper Scape, Ubisoft's new battle royale (and chat about the Ubisoft conference spell they were at it, because the secret of BRs is that they give you enough downtime to have a good convo).

Rachel Watts has been playing Ooblets in early access, and finding comfort in it. Straight-grained though that means having to learn what froobtoses, hop-skip dobs, sporbets, and lopauliflowers are. Apparently a quib is either a fruit or a vegetable? Either way it is probably round, friendly, and the color of bubblegum.

Tom Senior has been playing an advance copy of Othercide, the forthcoming turn-based tactics game or so warrior nuns fighting monsters. IT's got posh black-white-and-red art, and a combat system where you can move over characters around in the initiative order to coiffe dispatch combos and reactions. One of my dream 40K games is an XCOM-wish featuring the Sisters of Battle, and this looks very much like that.

Andy Kelly dug up Batman Returns, a indicate-and-click hazard movie tie-in from the 1990s. It sounds like a fascinating unsuccessful person, with an emphasis on beingness a detective and exploring Gotham for clues have down by a directionless story and terrible battle. Oh, well. At least Batman Returns gave the bit in Lego set Batman's Penguin levels that homage it.

Enough approximately us. What about you? Have you been playing Beyond a Steel Flip, the durable-awaited continuation to a 1994 adventure game? Operating theater Rites of War, the 40K strategy game GOG is giving away? Countenance United States of America know!

Jody Macgregor

Jody's first computer was a Commodore 64, and then he remembers having to use a code bicycle to play Pool of Radiance. A former music diary keeper who interviewed everyone from Giorgio Moroder to Trent Reznor, Jody also co-hosted Australia's first wireles show about videogames, Zed Games. He's engrossed for Rock Paper Shotgun, The Big Issue, GamesRadar, Zam, Glixel, and Corinthian.com, whose cheques with the bunny rabbit logotype made for fun conversations at the bank. Jody's first clause for PC Gamer was published in 2015, he altered Microcomputer Gamer Indie from 2017 to 2018, and actually did play every Warhammer videogame.
